Stop by RYC on March 5th to learn about how to navigate the boat buying experience from expert Arn Reistad Jr. from Anapolis Shipyard. Figure out the right forms, identify the right broker, and how to find the perfect boat! More about our presenter Arn Reistad Jr: Organized, operated and managed a marine consulting business providing direction and management of the purchase and restoration of ocean-going vessels; including restoration of a historic 45-foot oceangoing sailboat. Developed curriculum and taught at Anne Arundel Community College, along with several other Community Colleges, on the purchase and restoration of boats both power and sail. Work with several Surveyors to understand defects in the boats they were surveying. Obtained United States Coast Guard Master License in 2003. Experienced sailor including several ocean crossings on 90-to-110-foot wooden sailing vessels. Established in 1865, and as one of the oldest yacht clubs in the country, Raritan Yacht Club has a rich history both on and off the water.
