BROOKHAVEN, NY — Forget a funny valentine — try a furry one instead this February, and let the love last for years to come. The Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is hosting "My Furry Valentine" for February, and under the promtion, there will be free adoptions throughout the month for animals housed at the shelter for over six months.
