I was at the bar for an event I was attending, there was one seat between us, and you started talking to me, so I slid over. We talked about a few things: how I lived in DC, how you liked to go to U St., how you were shocked that I ordered a salad, and that you are a Washington football fan, but had planned to root for the Bengals in the Super Bowl. You are an incredibly cute Asian woman and were dressed in all black that night. You were also drinking green tea shots, and the friend you had come with was drinking cosmos and seemed generally irritated by my presence. I was wearing a navy blazer, light blue patterned shirt, and light tan khakis. The conversation got a little quiet after a while, and you went to the bathroom while I talked to your friend. When you got back, you had your back to me and were on your phone and I, ill-advisedly, got into an argument with your friend. The combination of these two things started making me feel uncomfortable, so I went to find my own friend I had been sitting next to earlier. After finishing my salad at a nearby table, I got up and went to the bathroom and when I got back, you were gone. To be honest, I'm not sure if we would've been right for one another, but I gave up on you too soon and regret not at least asking for your name and number and seeing if you'd be interested in meeting up again. I realize trying to find you via craigslist Missed Connections is a long shot, but it seems to be the only shot I've got.
