Waltham Fields Community Farm (WFCF) is looking for hard working individuals to join our CSA Distribution Work-Share team this season. Assist in making our 20-week summer CSA a success, in exchange for a full vegetable and flower CSA. About Waltham Fields Community Farm: WFCF was founded in 1995 as a nonprofit 501(c)3 charitable organization with a mission of hunger relief, education, and farm preservation. WFCF cultivates sustainable and equitable relationships between people, their food supply, and the land from which it grows. We envision communities with equitable access to the beauty, sanctuary, and food of local, sustainable farms. The work: The CSA Distribution Work Shares helps make our CSA and Barn Store a success. The CSA program at WFCF provides 20 weeks of farm fresh vegetables and Pick-Your-Own crops from early June through late October to over 400 families. WFCF also offers a 10-week Flower share and 8-week Fruit share; these run for varying weeks during the summer season. The Distribution Work Shares are responsible for helping with all aspects of running the CSA Distribution Barn and busy Barn Store. This is a weekly commitment for the entirety of the 20-week summer CSA season in exchange for a full CSA share and a 10-week Flower share. View the full position description here!
