The 2nd Annual AAIM Awards - Saluting African Americans in Media The 2020 AAIM Awards was Hallelujah 95.3FM's first huge event and it was a tremendous success. Through the vision of Dr. RB Holmes, Taralisha Sanders (General Manager) and Darius "Doc D" Baker (Program Director) worked hard to make this event happen for a beautiful cause. That cause was to honor African Americans in Media. Doc D stated, "When Ms. Sanders came to me with the word AAIM, my first words were "That's perfect!" Through her divine creation of the name, I produced a logo that we were both proud of. We then began to work hard on behalf of Live Communications to produce this event to the best of our abilities. We received so much support from businesses like Party Central Plus, Flookah's Catering, United Trophies and Awards and our co presenter, The Pavilion of Tallahassee. To see decades of greatness in the same room at the same time was indeed heartwarming. You felt the love and admiration for each honoree in the room throughout the night. It was a lot of work but with God as the lead, we succeeded in honoring African Americans in Media who deserved this award and so much more."
