A new principal for Levine Middle College High School was announced at tonight's Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education meeting.
Brian Bambauer was named the principal at Levine Middle College High. He has been the principal at Randolph IB Middle since 2014. Bambauer was a principal at Lansdowne IB Elementary from 2011 to 2014 and at Rama Road Elementary from 2007 to 2011, an assistant principal at Hickory Grove Elementary from 2004 to 2007 and a principal intern at Eastover Elementary from 2003 to 2004. He was a graduate assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2002 to 2003 and the director of operations at Carolina Crown, Inc. from 1999 to 2002. Bambauer was the instrumental music coordinator for West Carrollton City Schools in Ohio from 1994 to 1997 and junior high band director for Northmont City Schools in Ohio from 1991 to 1994.
Bambauer earned a bachelor's degree in music from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a master's degree in school administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
