More than 100 demonstrators attended the demonstration, which was met by state troopers, the Buffalo police, and several counter-protestors. The demonstration was organized by Rolling Patriots, a coalition that opposes COVID-19-related mandates. Tara McCormick, the public information officer for Nigro's troop, says the trooper remains on active duty and has not been placed on leave at this time.
