More than 100 demonstrators attended the demonstration, which was met by state troopers, the Buffalo police, and several counter-protestors. The demonstration was organized by Rolling Patriots, a coalition that opposes COVID-19-related mandates. (FingerLakes1.com)The state trooper who shot and killed 38-year-old James Huber on Saturday morning during a confrontation downtown has been identified as Trooper Anthony Nigro. Tara McCormick, the public information officer for Nigro's troop, says the trooper remains on active duty and has not been placed on leave at this time.
