Here are the top three stories in Burlington today: Burlington's Lake Champlain Sailing Center has received an award that recognizes the organization's efforts to promote inclusivity within sailing. The US Sailing Jim Kilroy Outstanding Outreach and Inclusion Award was given in response to the Center's Sailing Diversity Access Initiative that seeks to provide sailing access to members of the Black community, Indigenous community, and those who identify as People of Color (BIPOC). (Vermont Biz)Construction on Burlington's Shelburne Street Roundabout continues as traffic is diverted. According to the Vermont Agency of Transportation, access to Chittenden Drive will be closed to the community for the next several days while crews complete work on the waterlines at the intersection. Travelers going northbound will be directed to St. Paul Street while travelers going southbound will be directed onto Howard Street. (WCAX)A South Burlington man has been arraigned in the Vermont Superior Court on two charges of possessing child sexual abuse materials. Quang Le, 58, pleaded not guilty to charges brought against him after a lengthy criminal investigation involving residential and digital search warrants. Judge A. Gregory Rainville ordered conditions of release that prohibit Le's contact with minors and access to the internet.
