2 People Shot At Shopping Center In Howard County: Police

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Two people were shot Sunday afternoon at the Wilde Lake Village Center. According to the Howard County Police Department, both victims' injuries were not life-threatening. The incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. in the 5300 block of Village Center Drive. Officers first found a woman who had been shot; she was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. A man walked into Howard County General Hospital with a gunshot wound that police determined had happened at the village center, according to the department. Police do not have any suspect information and ask that anyone with information call 911.
