SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up all the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday. But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, Golden State residents should know that the Los Angeles Rams claimed victory in Super Bowl LVI in Inglewood on Sunday. Los Angeles won its first NFL championship since the 1983 season and third all time as Matthew Stafford threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp with one minute, 25 seconds to play to give the Rams a 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium. FBI officials said there is a rising trend in which romance scammers persuade individuals to send money to invest or trade cryptocurrency. Victims in the FBI's San Francisco division lost more than $64 million last year to romance scams, compared with $35 million in 2020, according to the agency. Read more about that here.
