JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City police found a 15-year-old boy dead with an apparent gunshot wound on Saturday night after being called to the area of 112 Myrtle Avenue. on a report of shots fired, the county prosecutor's office said. Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said that Devin Bryant, 15, of Jersey City, was found shortly after 8:20 p.m. with an apparent gunshot wound to the torso. He was taken by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center and pronounced dead at approximately 9:10 p.m. The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner's Office, prosecutors said. No arrests had been made public as of this writing. The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit is investigating this case with assistance from the Jersey City Police Department.
