Five LHS Wrestlers Head To State Finals

LEMONT, IL — Five wrestlers from Lemont High School have advanced to the IHSA Class 2A individual state finals on Feb. 17-19. Moe Khalil, Evan Schiffman, Alex Tagler, Mike Jabaay and Tyler Wilms advanced to the state finals after their performances at sectionals. Khalil, Tagler and Wilms were all sectional champions in their classes; and Schiffman and Jabaay placed third in their classes, according to the school. The individual state finals will be contested at State Farm Center in Champaign.
