WESTLAKE, OH — A car rolled over on I-90 last week in Westlake, police announced. At 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, callers reported a possible roll-over car crash on I-90, near Crocker Road. When officers arrived, they saw a Mitsubishi upside down near the highway median. The driver, a 32-year-old Lorain woman, told police another car cut her off making her lose control of the vehicle. Police believe the woman was impaired. The driver was also disoriented but not hurt, she told police. However, she had an open wound on her leg and paramedics took her to St. John Medical Center for treatment. Witnesses told police the woman's Mitsubishi rolled over multiple times before coming to a stop. Officers asked the driver to take a chemical test while at St. John's but she refused, police said. The driver now faces charges for operating a vehicle impaired and failure to control a vehicle.
