Description

CALABASAS, CA — Lanes on the westbound 101 Freeway have reopened after a collision Sunday night. California Highway Patrol reported that at least two vehicles crashed just after 7 p.m. at the intersection of the 101 and the 2900 block of Mureau Road in Calabasas. Officer Nicholson of the CHP said that the incident is listed as a "jackknifed big big," meaning that a trailer and tractor on a truck fold into each other. A SigAlert was issued at 7:09 p.m., and all lanes were stopped on the westbound 101 until 11 p.m. No injuries were reported, and the exact cause of the incident is still under investigation, Nicholson said.
