EAGAN, MN — A Lilydale man was killed in a crash on Thursday evening on Highway 77 in Eagan, Minnesota State Patrol said. According to officials, David William Frye, 87, was driving southbound when he veered into the median. His car came to a rest on the Railroad Bed under the highway, State Patrol said. Frye was transported to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, where he was pronounced dead, according to officials. State Patrol said he was wearing his seatbelt and no alcohol was involved.
