Drummer wanted for band. We have 2 guitarist/singers, 1 bassist, and need a drummer. Been playing for years and looking for someone with similar tastes, and is committed to jamming regularly and playing the occasional show around the area. We have a full rehearsal space/studio in mountain area, with all the equipment, including a full set of drums, you may use. We usually try to practice once a week, in evenings, and would like to play shows approximately once a month, or every other month. We are all married, or in a steady relationship, one has kids, with regular hour jobs in town, aged from 48- 54. We've played with many drummers but they’ve moved away, or can't commit. So we really want someone who will be around for awhile (not here just for a season) and is willing to commit to regular jams and the occasional show. Also, we want someone from Steamboat area, not from out of town. We like and play lots of types of music - classic rock, reggae, punk, funk, old school metal, jam rock, spacey/trippy/stoner rock. All kind of in our own style. We have some originals and want to write more, and are open to learning songs you’ve written or want to cover. Bands we've been covering lately: Rolling Stones, The Police, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, Daft Punk, Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Doors, The Cure, Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, Bowie, The Clash, Beatles, Bob Marley, U2, Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Talking Heads, Offspring, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, etc. We like to have fun, and love to play with others to make music.
