TUSCALOOSA, AL — Stillman College softball infielder Bailie Seales has been named the Southern States Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week after her performance during the first four games of the 2022 season for the Tigers.

The junior is a native of Centreville and transferred to Stillman from Marion Military Institute.
The conference said Seales received the honors for a four-game stretch from Jan. 31 – Feb. 6 that saw her hit .692, tallying nine hits, two home runs, eight RBIs and three runs scored.
In a season-opening doubleheader against Point University, Seales came up big playing the role of designated hitter, going 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs in the final game.
What's more, she also added two hits and four RBIs in Stillman's first win of the season Saturday against St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.
Seales and the Tigers (1-3) will be back on the field again Friday, Feb. 18 at home against Point University.
