Looking for local musicians to help get a new project off the ground. Remember growing up in the 70's and 80's with all these great, soft rock songs cranking on your parents Vista Cruiser radio? Well, I certainly do. I've been playing in various bar / club bands for longer than I care to disclose and am growing weary of the same old, beat tunes. Looking to add to and round out a current rotating group of players to play anything from "yacht rock" to R&B, some classic rock, 60's through 80's and bring something different to the local scene. I don't know when things will get back to normal for gigging, but the impetus would be geared to starting a web series as well. This project could also serve as a "house band" for guest artists as needed. These sessions can be pre-recorded and posted or live streamed real time with 4 camera switching. We've got drums and bass pretty well covered although a second bass player would enable our existing one to play some saxophone. We have a female vocalist, I play drums, guitar, some keys and sing lead / back-ups. Have a few fellow 40 something friends into the idea. Looking particularly for multi instrumentalists so we could change things up. Keys/lead guitar are essential, obviously. Horn players, violin, accordion, whatever you can bring to the table. Have a fully equipped recording / rehearsal studio in Epping with drums, amps, keyboards, etc. As well as audio / video production. This will serve as home base and filming / streaming location. So, who's in?
