13-year-old Warmblood gelding, 16.3, good-natured, athletic, well-trained and all-around nice horse is available for 3/4 lease in Oregon. Boarded at a barn with indoor and outdoor arena and trails. The horse is fully equipped, healthy, and well cared for. Quality, custom-fitted tack and all grooming supplies provided. The ideal fit: - Intermediate to experienced rider with an interest in flat work, dressage, trail riding, low-level eventing, small jumps, or simply recreational riding - Finds caring for the horse, building a relationship and spending quality time enjoyable - Interest in horses and horsemanship just as important as interest in riding What you get: - Sensitive, well-trained gelding, who is looking for a dialog with the rider - Horse time 5 days per week - Friendly, cooperative barn environment - Participation in fun shows at the boarding barn sponsored by owner, if desired What is expected: -You feed (prepared) grain on the days you ride -No barn work, stall cleaning or similar involved - just normal horse/tack care on riding days Monthly 3/4 lease – $400/month This includes 5 agreed, regular days of access to the horse. (1 day per week - horse rests; 1 day per week - horse is schooled or receives TLC from owner) Owner pays all vet care, farrier, feed, supplements, board, etc. Lease contract with 30-day cancellation notice (no 1-year trap...).
