Our students receive the best instruction and training from top industry experts to become Portable Fire Extinguisher Technicians. Upon completion students will receive credentials from the State of Georgia Fire Marshal’s Office. Average pay per week for a technician is $1,000 to $4,000 a week. A Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician performs a variety of functions such as the installation of, certification of and swapping of expired portable fire extinguishers in both retail and commercial business spaces per NFPA-10. Portable Fire Extinguisher Technicians will be required to handle equipment ranging from 5lb-25lb, as well as instruct others on the proper use of portable fire extinguishers. Our technicians have access to an advanced database and mapping system that highlights places of business that have the highest chance of needing these services! This is a performance-based pay position; there is no base pay, it is commission-based pay only! Average pay per week for a technician is $1,000 to $4,000 a week! Starting out at 50% commission on every job with the ability to reach up to 90% commission of your sales! Most technicians are out in the field earning money in under two weeks!
