Description
Our little (not-so-little-anymore) PICKLE pig is still waiting to meet her forever fam in SoCal! Pickle was found running loose in Palos Verdes at just a few weeks old, and she's grown into a hilarious, suuuuper furry, gabby pigren! She's sassy, silly and sweet all in one. Still addicted to belly rubs, squeals the song of her people during meal prep and enters orbit in a clockwise circle until dinner is served. That super curly demon tail shows up only during the actual event of eating, when one's standing on one's back tippie toes to get the bootie as high as possible. It's as hilarious as she is. When we rescued her last year, it was hot and she was bald. With colder weather, she's grown some seriously plush long piggie fur. It's so long, it makes her seem bigger and gives her these super big cheeky cheeks, great for squeezing. She'll let you rub her all over, check her grill, handle her feet. Loves food, hay, cheerios, filled Kongs, game to try just about anything (even plastic bounce balls from the kiddie ball pool, now removed from the pig pen). SHE LOOOOOOVES MUD. A wallow is required. (This girl ain't no indoor house princess!) She's with 2 much older pigs (rescued from a bad hoarding situation) and can hold her own. In fact, she's earned the nicknames Pick the Dick, Dickle, Prickle, or some variation thereof. (She's not really a dick, we have one of those and she's the pink one; Pickle just won't take poop from anyone and is a perfectly normal little piggo.) Pickle is looking for a farmily anywhere in Southern California. She's being fostered in the San Diego area, but anywhere we can drive within a few hours is fine. Another well-matched pig or two is preferred as she enjoys the company of her foster sisters (most of the time), and pigs are herd animals. She can easily hang with bigger, bolder pigs thanks to her sassitude, and she'd do best with pigs who are not total pushovers. Most importantly, she's looking for human parents who are fully aware of the responsibilities that come with pig parenting; who will provide for her future medical needs as well as taking care of her hooves and grill when necessary; and who will love her and give her a place in their heart and home forevermore. Pigren are for life, just like any other family. Pickle is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her bags are packed and she's ready to move into your mudhole stat.
