Looking for musicians to start San Diego's newest open mic event!

Hey SD musicians, I just moved to town and I'm looking to find/foster a music community in San Diego. I'd love to host an open mic event at my favorite venue space, Garden Coffee. But I'd need some help with a few things like pitching in for funds to rent the event space, someone willing to provide a PA system for players to use, and spreading the word about the event. (And obviously, some bomb players looking for a fun, laid-back performance environment.) If any of this sounds like you, please feel free to contact me! I have a lot of ideas and hopes to put on some awesome events in SD, so let's get started and book out a great Summer music season. :)
