We are a small, one-of-a-kind metaphysical shop in Hollywood. We have been in business for 37 years and now looking for a new member of our team. We are a small shop so we wear many hats, so versatility is a must! Your main responsibilities would be packing and shipping client orders and stocking the store, pick up and deliveries to our Hollywood warehouse and NOHO workshop. Duties also include cleaning at store, storage and warehouse and errand running. We have: • Full-time or part time employees choice. Shifts are late morning to early evening. Shifts will include weekends. Days off change weekly. • Paid 30 min lunch break included in your shift. 6 to 8 hours total • Self starter; able to work in your own, ability to budget your time • Strong organizational skills; able to take direction Answer phones and greet customers when sales personnel are busy You are: • Skilled with packing / shipping. One to two years experience a huge plus. Previous FedEx or UPS and Box store employees welcome. Familiar with USPO. FedEx and UPS shipping or quick learner. Can lift 50 lbs, on a routine basis. Candidates will routinely be standing, squatting, lifting, bending during daily duties and must be comfortable working and stocking using a ladder. Able to take direction and flexible with routine changes. • A conscientious problems solver, highly motivated, logical and reliable. • Punctual. Reliable transportation to work and excellent time management skills required. • Detail oriented. Inventory experience a plus. • Comfortable working in small space. We have a small shop, so comfortable working around people. • A good driver with a clean record and CA driver's license. You will drive the company vehicles for deliveries and pickups.
