This person will be responsible for identifying problematic computers and repairing them in a timely and diligent manner. Requirements: Experience with computer hardware - you have demonstrated history and background of repairing computer hardware. Tolerance to Harsh Conditions - our working environment is both indoors and outdoors and includes cold rooms with excess wind speed and hot rooms. The conditions can get especially harsh during the winter. Grit and endurance is required to be successful. You also don’t mind getting dirty. Problem Solver - you will troubleshoot machines that can be faulty due to many reasons. You will need the ability to determine root causes. Diligent - the computers will have many small and complicated parts. You will need to be patient during disassembly and reassembly. Hard Worker - we expect 100% effort and commitment in all your tasks. Team Player - you will be working with people from different departments as well as team members within your own department. Flexibility - we are a small company and everyone is expected to assist one another. This means that your responsibilities can change frequently and at short notice. Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Frequent exposure to heat, cold and other adverse weather conditions. Work in and around industrial and construction settings, which may include extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment. Frequent heavy lifting with and without assistance. Reliable attendance at work.
