I got hit by a car but its okay

About 3 weeks ago I got hit by a car on Halsey, which, yes, was awful, but I was so quickly descended upon by dozens of good Samaritans, concerned drivers, neighbors and commuters. I was crying in the middle of the road and I wanted my mom, but I got the next best thing: about 10 other moms who gave me blankets, talked to me, made sure I didn't move my head. The whole thing made me think about how Mr. Rogers always said to look for the helpers when bad things happen and you'll feel better. Anyways, on this valentines day I just want to say I love you to all the strangers that made sure I was okay and called the ambulance and tried to make a bad situation more bearable. You rule and restored a whole lot of my faith in humanity.
