Gasoline prices are high because demand is dropping. Hybrids and alternative fueled vehicles are decreasing demand by double digits each year.
Oil companies know we cannot live without our cars and they are exploiting us. Gasoline porticos will never drop significantly again. Demand will drop every year. Oil companies will maintain profit even on slumping sales. Us chumps who drive gas cars will pay more and more for fuel as time goes by.
I will not be dumping my truck for and EV anytime soon. But when it is time to buy my next vehicle, it will be an electric. truck.
