The interesting thing about your post isn't that it's true that's for sure because it's not, the interesting thing is you actually believe what you've said. Demand for oil and gas is extremely high, EV cars aren't even a blip on the energy use map and the traditional energy companies are seriously invested in green energy, after all energy is their business doesn't matter what the power source as long as they can sell it. Your theory of energy punishment is a ridiculous idea, prices are created by demand and demand is high while sources are lower specially since Biden took 2 million barrels a day of US production off line. Gasoline prices are high because demand is dropping. Hybrids and alternative fueled vehicles are decreasing demand by double digits each year. Oil companies know we cannot live without our cars and they are exploiting us. Gasoline porticos will never drop significantly again. Demand will drop every year. Oil companies will maintain profit even on slumping sales. Us chumps who drive gas cars will pay more and more for fuel as time goes by. I will not be dumping my truck for and EV anytime soon. But when it is time to buy my next vehicle, it will be an electric. truck.
