New artist looking to put together a diverse group of musicians for performing. The music is all original, a unique, retro-futuristic blend of several genres that results in a kind of psychedelic progressive rock that would appeal to fans of Pink Floyd, Ween, later Beatles, early David Bowie, i Monster, Moody Blues, maybe Frank Zappa, maybe Duran Duran a little bit, a dash of Crosby Stills Nash & Young.. It’s hard to pin down exactly as it has its own distinct flavor. It’s spacy like Ziggy Stardust; westerny in some spots like a Quentin Tarantino film; quirky and retro like a Tim Burton movie; flowy, immersive, and hard hitting like Floyd, a dynamic experience. And there’s even a song about The Rocky Horror Picture Show! Looking for a bass player and drummer at this time. Serious inquiries will be provided with a link to the music which has not yet been released yet. We will preferably end up with a mixed group; all genders and ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to respond, as long as you can rock the joint. It should be mentioned that a kind and respectful culture among the group is a high priority. Rehearsing weekly and looking to be performance-ready by summer. We’re putting together a really fun show with props, costumes and special effects. No Trumpers please. Elements of the show include anti-racist themes and an overall message of awareness, love for humanity, and equality for all people so it just wouldn’t be a good fit.
