Hello musicians! The Violence Inherent in the System is a new band in Grand Junction looking to add a couple musicians to our mix. We’re very focused on multi-instrumentalism, so we’d like everyone to be able to play something in addition to their primary instrument. We enjoy lots of styles of music, but we tend to be a mix of rock, pop, and folk. As far as repertoire, we have more than an album worth of originals and 20 or so covers in the works. Some Influences: Radiohead, Mutemath, Muse, Queen, Sufjan Stevens, Whitest Boy Alive, Miike Snow, Lots of 60s stuff as well.
