Citizens Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) provide support and services for people with I/DD who have multiple cognitive, medical and/or physical disabilities requiring 24-hour support and supervision. In this vital role, you will assist and support medically frail people who are recovering. We are currently seeking a full time Secretary to join our Helen Kaplan Program in Plainview! We offer you: · Low-cost, high-quality insurance plans · Great Pay & Excellent Benefits! · Tuition reimbursement – we’ll pay you to get your degree! · College Loan Forgiveness · Industry competitive salary · Employee Recognition – you’ll be appreciated!! · A diverse, inclusive team that will support and guide you every day · Wellness incentives – weight loss, yoga at work, gym membership & more · Cell phone discounts · Housing Assistance to purchase your first dream home – in Nassau or Suffolk · Opportunities to advance your career with management mentoring In this role, you will: · Perform all secretarial tasks (i.e., typing, filing, answering telephones, mailing and photocopying) for the Director and ICF administration. · Maintain general files including employee files, family contact information, and admission-discharge records. · Maintain inventory, ordering, and distribution of office supplies including toner for printers and copiers. · Manage correspondence, documents, reports as requested by the Director and or administrative staff. · Prepare and distribute weekly Clinical Management Staff Schedules. · Maintain hard copies of employee files and report binders for Incident Reports & Staff Mantoux Results, etc. · Prepare and distribute monthly family mailings. · Distribute and track asset tags and logs to Purchasing Dept. · Successfully complete annual training and other training that may be required for this position. · Perform miscellaneous tasks as requested by supervisor.
