Our Attendants make a difference in the lives of so many dogs by providing care, exercise, and companionship in a clean, safe, and fun environment. We strive to provide room for advancement as you become experienced. The shifts are 6:30am-1pm, 7am-1:30pm, 1:30p-8:30pm. Shifts are on a flexible rotating schedule and candidates must be available on weekends and holidays as well. We care for our dogs 365 days a year. Responsibilities include: Daily supervision and care of our guests for lodging and daycare Managing doggy daycare playgroups Walking & exercising our guests Daily cleaning of our guests quarters and surrounding areas Taking dogs out for bathroom breaks and properly logging information Being attentive to the individual needs of the dogs in our care Keeping the daycare and lodging facility clean by following checklists and company procedures Possess the ability to do heavy cleaning Daily health monitoring of our guests Occasionally bathing dogs Job Requirements Include: Must be at least 18 years of age Previous experience working with group play is preferred (dog ownership is not considered experience for this position) Be comfortable working with all size dogs and all breeds Be able to move quickly Possess the ability to interact with dogs AND customers Basic computer skills Reliable transportation Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals Ability to keep a positive attitude in a sometimes stressful environment Be able to lift unassisted a minimum of 50 pounds and be willing and able to safely restrain or move dogs of all sizes including dogs that are over 100 pounds While performing this job, employees will be standing, walking and active for most of the time Available to work a flexible schedule and be available most (but not all) Saturdays and Sundays- most (but not all) holidays Ability to work with minimal supervision Bow chika Wow Town is a drug-free work place Team perks include: Complementary Doggie Daycare Leadership opportunities Retail Store discounts Team Uniforms Opportunity to earn vacation time Paid training $200 Sign on Bonus Required education: High school or equivalent We will train the right candidate on body language and how to handle dogs in a group setting.
