Beware of back yard breeders! We got a 12 week old Dutch Shephard that we picked up in Portland. Paid $650 for him and 2 days later he was in the ER with parvo. Our clearance puppy has turned into a 12k puppy! I know some of these pups are so cute and you think you are getting a deal but in the long run it will cost you. Unless they are a reputable breeder, allow you to meet the pups at their home and the parents, sign a detailed contract, DONT DO IT! He looked perfectly healthy until the second day. We have to stop these scammers and it takes all of us not purchasing their puppies!
