Goal: Produce and perform work in a safe and efficient manner, while exceeding Customer expectations in quality and service. Description: Candidate must have 2-3 years of Hardscape experience. Candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently and with others. Candidate should have great problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Candidate should be a strong advocate of proper horticultural care, have project and people management skills and be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal. Room for advancement including but not limited to Project Management, Department Managers, Sales, Design, Purchasing and more. We are looking for motivated candidates that want a career not just a job. There is winter work available. Compensation: Hourly rate start at $24/hr to $30/hr depending on qualifications. Position also qualifies for Bonus Incentive program. Responsibilities Typical job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage weekly workloads to ensure tasks are performed safely, efficiently and on-time while meeting quality standards Follow safety policies Report job status updates to Project Manager Lead a landscape crew and provide direction Must be able to take direction and be flexible Complete required paperwork daily Follows all policies and procedures that pertain to job requirements Be able to consistently communicate in an efficient and effective manner on the telephone or in person. Other required/incidental activities Qualifications Landscape construction experience in Hardscapes and Softscapes Ability to read a landscape plan/design Ability to operate equipment Ability to provide direction and lead a crew Class A/CDL preferred Health Card required Physical Demands: Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 50lbs on a regular and consistent basis, move about the work site. Requires extended periods of activity including, walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting, up to 100% of a workday. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
