Description
I have a 1972 Lemans that I took apart as a project last year and now my health issues prevent me from finishing it. The list of what I'd like done follows. I'll pay for individual jobs or all of them as a whole we can talk about that.
1. the motor and trans are out. they need put back in. the trans is fine but the motor hasn't run in a very long time. the carb got damaged in moving it. The valve cover is dented and theres a broken valve cover bolt I'd like removed. I have different covers and a carb to go on it. I need someone to start the motor and see if it should be rebuilt. It will turn its not tied up but it ain't real easy. Its on a stand. I have a picker too.
2. the nose, core support, hood, and fenders are off they need sprayed with black primer and a couple small repairs made. no big holes. Then they can be put back on. I think theres one broken bolt in the firewall that should be drilled out.
3. All the rubber in the front end is shot. the control arm bushings... everything. so a complete front suspension rebuild should be done. This is where I was gonna start thats why I took the body apart.
The car is up on stands and blocks in my yard on gravel. the motor is on my ground level back porch. I have heavy ply wood to make moving things or getting under the car available. You can work here or Im ok with having the project moved to your garage as I don't have one. If this sounds like something you can handle please try and give me a ballpark price. I can get parts through Rock auto or if you have a better parts option
, like a commercial parts account, we can talk about it. Thanks for your consideration. I'd really like to see this car put back together before I check out.
