- Would you allow your nation to be invaded at the border and do NOTHING ? My Reply: I'm skeptical of your definition of "nothing." The US Border Patrol has not been disbanded. The sensor array between us and Mexico (and Canada) is still in full operation. Cameras and drones still provide video footage. Arrests are as high as they have been in decades. - Would you destroy the American economy with major spending bills, inflation, and devaluing the dollar? My Reply: The former guy (and his party's majority Congress) upped the National debt by 7 trillion (7,000,000,000,000.00) dollars and waged an unsuccessful (though "easily winnable") trade war with China. That left the current guy in a deep hole, the inevitable consequence of which is inflation and a need for spending. Like all Democrats, the current guy knows the easiest way out of a Republican-funded economic downturn is to spend. p.s. Reagan devalued the dollar in 1985. - Would you constantly beat a dead horse, (Jan. 6th) BUT FAiL to investigate the CHINESE VIRUS? My Reply: January 6th is hardly a dead horse. The only people promoting idea that are those who want it to go away because they know it was a big "no no" and heads will roll if it goes further. As for the "Chinese virus," why would anyone want to investigate it? The former guy downplayed it for months insisting it was "nothing." By his own admission, the former guy is never wrong. Since the former guy can't be wrong, why do you want Congress to investigate a nothing? - Would you even think about giving taxpayer money to illegal migrant foreign invaders ? My Reply: Absolutely. It makes them better citizens once they apply for it and realize it. Illegal migrants do the work that most "hardworking Americans" (more on them in a minute) refuse to do. The vast majority of the migrant workers keep their head down, their mouth shut and send 95% of the money they make back home to their families. I'll happily give that person some of my hard earned tax dollars, just as I am forced to give my hard earned tax dollars to all those welfare recipients in red states who do nothing but wait for that great Socialist welfare check to arrive each month (along with the Socialist food stamps, free food deliveries, public education, police, fire, etc. ad nausea) while railing against the evils of "socialism." - Would you choke the life out of hardworking Americans by closing pipelines and eliminating energy independence? My Reply: Relax. Every guy from 1 to 46 (yes, even your precious 45) has made choices that put "hardworking Americans" out of work. To my way of thinking, this just gives them the opportunity to live the great "American Dream," pull themselves up by their bootstraps, and make something of themselves. Why are you against this? Besides, every news outlet, regardless of its politics, admits there is a major work shortage in this country right now. Any "hardworking American" can easily find a job. Why are you against that? (Of course, anyone who got laid off from the pipeline job who doesn't want to work a "crap job" (like picking fruit, as the migrants do) is welcome to suck the everlasting teat of Socialism and accept the welfare check, while railing against the danger of socialism, right?) - Would you even support CENSORSHIP of Americans by Big Tech like CL, Twitter & Facebook ? My Reply: It isn't censorship. It's a decision by a "person" to disallow speech on their platform. The 1st Amendment protects the people from our Government. Let me remind you of the first five words: "Congress shall make no law." Therefore, the 1st Amendment does not protect the people from a corporation banning users for violating its Terms of Service. And since it was the Republicans who demanded that Corporations be seen as "people" in the eyes of the court (voting rights!!!!), I really don't see what your problem is here. Besides, isn't it the Republicans who want less government intervention anyway? Why are you suggesting (big) Government should intervene here? Wouldn't that be paramount to "outrageous federal overreach?" - Would you allow a corrupt DOJ and FBI to call parents of children "terrorists"? My Reply: If the DOJ and/or FBI conclude that a person's actions fall under the definition of "terrorism," then charge the terrorists as such. Put another way: how much would you object to the CIA telling OBL's kids their dad was a terrorist? My guess is "not at all." p.s. Most lifelong Federal employees are apolitical. Your suggestion that the FBI and DOJ is “corrupt” is your opinion. - Would you even dare to listen to a radical "Squad" with racist, anti-Constitution, and anti-Semite ideals? My Reply: Of course! It's important to listen to the other side's ideas. This is how we reach understanding. And compromise! Why are you so afraid of what they have to say? Why do you wish to silence them? By the way (and just asking for a friend), why do you "dare" listen to McCarthy, Nunes, Gosar, Jordan, et al.? Couldn’t one easily suggest, too, that those men (and their like-minded associates) constitute a “squad” of misogynist racists? (Aside: only the Judiciary has the power to decide whether something is or is not "anti-Constitutional." You can have an opinion, but it don't matter.) - Would you scream 'threat to our democracy' & 'national security', hold 2 impeachments, AND DO NOTHING about the current threat in office ? My Reply: It is the duty of the US House of Representatives to keep the President in check. If the HOR determines the President has violated the Oath of Office, they have the right to initiate Impeachment proceedings. Obviously, the preceding HOR felt the (then) President had violated his Oath on two occasions. To date, there is not enough support in the House to suggest the current guy has done so. Maybe that will change. (And if convicted in the Senate, the VP becomes P, so be careful what you wish for!) - Would you nominate a self- proclaimed Communist Marxist to head head the Treasury? My Reply: Sure why not? Would you nominate a self-proclaimed film producer to head the Treasury? The former guy did.
