A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER As an Assistant Branch Manager, you play a vital role in our company. You come to work every day, ready to put your heart into a variety of tasks. First and foremost, you serve as the customer's primary point of contact. Because we are a business that offers 24/7 emergency services, you often receive frantic calls from customers. You take on these concerns as if they were your own. Responding in a calm and reassuring manner, you draw upon your experience in construction to answer their questions and then facilitate a resolution to their problem. Your main duties, therefore, are dispatching crews, managing their appointments, and maintaining clear communication throughout the day. As you do, you ensure that each job is completed efficiently and with excellent customer service. You are often the only one in the office, so you must be able to work independently on a regular basis. The nitty-gritty of operations management also falls to you. Among other tasks, you enter data, maintain records, verify facts, and resolve discrepancies. You manage teams and operations in such a way that we meet budgets. You also assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and submissions to insurance. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER 2+ years of experience in office management or operations management Knowledge about budgets and reports Knowledge about restoration and the construction industry Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to learn our business management and customer relationship management (CRM) software Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Are you a self-starter?
