Local flooring company looking to immediately hire a warehouse manager. If you are a dependable and hardworking leader who is looking for a rewarding career, we want to hire you! As a warehouse manager, you would manage all inbound and outbound freight, drive forklifts & run electric pallet jacks, pull & load orders, make pickups and deliveries of materials, etc. (see below for more detailed list of job description). Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required. (we are willing to train as needed.) Pay will be based on experience and work ethic. Eligible for raises as early as 45 days. We also offer generous paid time off and paid holidays.
Some of the more specific duties may include:
•Following all applicable safety rules and procedures
•Receiving incoming freight and locating it into our warehouse bin locations
•Organizing and maintaining the warehouse for effective and efficient utilization of available storage space while also ensuring that all products can be quickly retrieved for loading/shipping
•Pulling materials from inventory and staging it for loading and deliveries
•Maintaining all products in a quality and marketable condition
•Keeping accurate inventory records
•Occasional manual lifting of up to 75 lb
•Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
•Physically sorting through various products as they come back into the warehouse for storage and/or return
•Driving company vehicles for pick up and delivery of materials to customers or job sites
