Cargill Fence Company is seeking multiple great team members! Positions are full time with excellent pay, $20-32.00/HR! We are a growing small business that believes in promoting and building great lives for our employees! The current openings are for Fence Technicians, outdoor fence construction maniacs who like to create quality with their hands and serve our customers with an attitude of gratitude and integrity, who help their fellow crewman and hold safety, honesty and hustle in top regard and who also assist us in completing the following tasks: • Building and maintaining barbed wire fences for Farms and Ranches • Welding • Operating Torches, Plasma Cutters, and Demo Saws • Designing / Building Corrals, Feedlots and Processing facilities • Installing habitat restoration wildlife fencing • Preparing / Manufacturing steel fence components • Transporting equipment and materials to job locations We are looking for an individual(s) who are self-starting, hard-working and willing to be a collaborative part of our team. Fence construction is physical work. Applicants must be able to spend 8-12 hrs/day on your feet and maneuver uneven and often steep terrain. Most of the work is outdoors in some of the most awesome country in Eastern Oregon and surrounding states. Applicants should be able to safely lift 70lbs. Travel is required and applicants may be away from home for up to 5 days at a time. Housing and food costs are covered while traveling. We know that getting home to family is important and we strive to make that happen on time and as frequently as possible. Base wage starts at $20/hr. but rises quickly with responsibility. Wages may increase during Davis-Bacon contract work which is approximately 50% of current workload. Current DBA RATE $31.33/HR Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. And have transportation to a central meeting point in either Burns or work site location.
