Please help a man & his cat from the freezing to death

Hi, I am fundraising for a dear friend of mine named Chris and his cat Ginger. Please help someone & their cat not freeze to death this winter. They are in a tough situation and could really use some help. Even though he is employed he is currently without housing and I’m greatly concerned about this situation. What I am requesting is if anyone has any free or cheap camping gear, tents, sleeping bags, hand and feet warmers, tarps, and especially an outdoor heater (more than anything) they would like to give away or donate anything for supplies it would be beyond greatly appreciated, it could save a life. It’s freezing out there. (And he won’t go to a shelter because he has his daughter's cat and promised her he would care for the cat.) I’ve done what little I can on a single mom budget so I hoped it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to the community. Any funds donated will go to the purchase of basic survival for my friend and his cat.
