Qualifications for residential and janitorial cleaning: Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew and cleaning solutions. Ability to lift and carry 20 to 30 pounds of equipment in and out of jobs. Ability to perform wet work on the knees to clean kitchen and bathroom floors, scrubbing showers and tubs. Must be able to bend for toilets reaching showers and tubs at knee height, and reach shoulder height or above to finish the rooms. Ability to reach, pull, and stoop to make beds; reach, lift, and pull to operate a vacuum cleaner; ability to dust furniture from floor to overhead. Must be able to successfully handle going up and stairs several times during the day. You don’t need to have your own vehicle but having a valid drivers license is a plus.
