Howdy! I am 25 years old, and love spending my time helping people. I have worked with several families doing childcare and house cleaning. I briefly worked as an assistant teacher at a Christian Montessori school, before it shut down due to Covid. I have also worked in in-home end of life senior care. I have only had one client in this regard, but I spent the last year and a half of his life with him. It was too much of an emotional toll on me, and I would like to return to working with children. I am hard-working and honest. One day I would like to be an elementary school teacher, or a social worker to help kids out of bad situations. My dream job for right now would be working for one family who I can build a relationship with, and work with to help them with their needs. I have experience with all ages of children except for pre-teens/teens, but that's nothing I wouldn't be able to tackle. I also love organizing and deep cleaning. I find it relaxing. I am admittedly not the best cook, but can throw together some simple and healthy meals for kids. I have the bare bones of a contract worked up, which could be modified to our needs as we figure them out. I am preferably looking for a job in the greater Tacoma area, as I live in Graham, bordering Puyallup. I have an infinitely open schedule. I can never drive due to epilepsy, which is under control but still dangerous to try to drive, but transportation is something I've never had trouble figuring out (busses, ubers, friends and family)! I am open to the idea of moving in with the right family in exchange for lesser pay if they had the room for me, but it's not something I'm specifically looking for. I have a stable place to stay but no real attachment to it, and would be willing to relocate if it made the job that much easier. I have lived with a family that I did childcare for before and it worked perfectly. My rates start at $15/hr for an all around helper, for up to two kids. Anything else more you need we can discuss! Now I'm gonna get the big downside out of the way so I don't waste anyone's time. I smoke cigarettes, never inside and always wash my hands when coming in. With the last family I worked with, they would have me go to the end of the driveway, only put my butts in the outdoor trash can and also I even had a smoking jacket just for there. I understand if it is still a deal-breaker, especially involving children which is why I mention it. I do not do drugs, nor do I really drink or even enjoy it.
