Why do Trump nuts work to politicize everything? Electric vehicles have been the future for decades. It has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with cleaner, cheaper technology. Just as the model T replaced the horse drawn carriage and diesel trains replaced steam trains, EV's are replacing gasoline powered vehicles.
Trump resisted EV's because he has huge interests in oil companies and because oil companies funded his campaigns.
Biden is embracing EV's because he can see the the are the future.
Cellular phones replaced landlines.
Smart phones replaced cell phones.
Fiber optics is replacing wire.
LED light bulbs replaced incandescent bulbs.
Color TV replaced black and white TV
Flat screen TV's replaced tube style TV's
This is how technology works. When we develop new better technology, we use it. EV's are better in almost every way to gasoline powered vehicles.
This is not political. The consumer market drives the heavy demand for EV's. Tesla sold over 900,000 vehicles last year alone.
