Alamo City Conservatives General Meeting - Guest Speaker Scott Avery, Christian Conservative & Activist
Scott Avery, Christian Conservative & Activist
Grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism from San Diego State University. For seven years, Scott worked in both Christian and secular radio. His political convictions began to take form in 1980, as he cast his first vote for Ronald Reagan as President of the United States. Since then, he has been an activist for all things Christian and conservative. Over the years, he has been closely associated to the San Antonio Tea Party and other conservative groups. In 2010, he served as a campaign coordinator for Republican Congressional candidate Clayton Trotter. In 2012, he traveled to Ohio to serve on the Presidential campaign of Mitt Romney.
In 2014 Scott conceived a new concept for political activism when he began work on the feature length movie, No Time to Run - an unprecedented patriotic film that he'll be talking during our meeting.
