The class takes place in the showroom of Mannequin Madness which is featured in the travel book, Secret California - a guide to the weird, obscure and wonderful. 1 We begin with a brief slide show of various styles of headdresses to get your creative juices flowing. 2 Then we share design tips and review glue gun safety. 3 Next you explore our amazing collection of faux flowers, beads, fans, tassels, butterflies, jewels and other gorgeousness. Feel free to bring your own personal items to adorn the headdress. 3 Once you select your favorite items, we give you a mannequin head wearing a plain satin headband. 4 Then you will layout your materials and start creating something stunning, letting your instincts guide you. 5 Our instructor meets with you one-on-one to offer advice and answer questions. 6 We finish with a photoshoot of you and your fabulous headdress! Crafting is more fun when surrounded by friends or family. So we are offering a 50% discount when you buy a second ticket for a companion. And every headdress is beautiful, and just like snowflakes, no two are alike even when made out of the same materials.  The Headdress Workshop is a division of my primary business Mannequin Madness . It is a way to turn all the used mannequin heads in my warehouse into a “canvas” for creating wearable art.
