Learn to Curl like an Olympian! Ok - so you've seen the action at the Olympics, now it’s time to head out to Pasadena Ice Skating Center to try your hand at curling! At this open house learn to curl event, you’ll get out on the ice to learn the basics of curling delivery and sweeping. Show up at any time between 5:30 and 7:`00pm and you'll get to try the epic sport of curling for yourself. Perfect for fans who have never tried the sport before! It will be approximately a 30 minute experience. Dress warmly, wear close-toe comfortable shoes, and get ready for this winter sport to sweep you off your feet. Hollywood Curling is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing curling instruction, recreational play, and competitive opportunities to the Los Angeles region. As one of five clubs in the state, and the only club in Los Angeles County, our goal is to offer the game of curling to the local community, foster the social and competitive spirit of curling, and teach and develop curlers to compete at a local, national and international level. Hollywood Curling is a member of the United States Curling Association (USCA) and the Mountain Pacific Curling Association (MoPac). We are constantly striving to grow our program and to promote the sport. With our local certified instructors we teach the art of curling at open houses and clinics throughout the year.
