BEGINNER RUNWAY WORKSHOP - AGES 7-12 Runway modeling is the art of walking down a runway showing the latest fashions. The best runway models have an air of incredible confidence. They walk effortlessly down the runway, with grace and confidence. Learning the proper way to carry yourself on a runway is important for students hoping to enter the industry. It takes continuous practice to perfect the style needed. A runway walk could make the difference in how many modeling jobs a model books. The level of grace and style required fluctuates with each age, and each outfit. Students will learn runway techniques in line with this age group. They will have fun learning new techniques while listening to fun, upbeat music. We will take a 5-minute break to watch a children's fashion show and enjoy a small snack and beverage. The benefits of this workshop: Learning a new skill, building self-esteem, learn patience, begin to understand the importance of posture and balance. Debra Model Management is a boutique modeling school that provides modeling workshops in an effort to enhance personal development. Students will learn to identify and appreciate their unique, and positive qualities, as we lay the foundation for good self-esteem. The lessons students learn stay with them throughout life. Students will receive the proper training, tools, and guidance to work towards their goal of becoming a model. They will have the opportunity to participate in a location photo shoot, learn runway techniques, audition techniques, and more. Though graduates have signed with great modeling agencies, and booked work with Disney, Coach, Children's Place, Dick Sporting Goods, and others, please know, taking courses is not necessary to become a model.
