Beverly Hills Reopens Playgrounds Following Revised Health Order

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Just in time for the holidays, the city of Beverly Hills reopened its playgrounds Thursday following a revision of the Los Angeles County Health Order. Playgrounds are open at at Roxbury, La Cienega and Coldwater Canyon parks, and Arnaz, Hamel, and Reeves mini-parks. Visitors are asked to wear face coverings, maintain social at least six feet of social distancing, and stay home if they are feeling sick. No food or drink is allowed on the playground. The city said in a statement that staff will be on hand in playgrounds to ensure compliance. "We understand the need for adults and children to be outdoors and recreate, and we are happy to reopen our playgrounds, however, we ask that you recreate responsibility for the safety of you as well as your neighbors," the city said in a statement.
