Construction Demolition contractor looking for a new Crew Member to bring aboard. I service a large area of CO and need some help on jobs coming up. Looking for someone to start immediately if it works for both of us, and would like someone that can stick around for more than a couple weeks. Some of the Scopes of Work you will be doing: Kitchen and Bath guts- shower surrounds and bathtub removal, toilets and vanity removal. Cabinets and countertops, appliances, etc Floor removal- tile, wood, carpet, Laminate, concrete. Running a jackhammer and hauling debris Wall and ceiling removal- skinning walls free of Sheetrock and/or removing framing Fireplace surround demo Exterior Demo: shed removal, decks and fences, etc. Mainly doing interior demolition in residential homes with occasional commercial work. I have trained several men over the years and prefer someone with experience that can be self reliant and work with minimal supervision. You don’t have to have a ton of experience to apply but preference and higher pay will go to those that know what to do and do it right! Need a hard worker with a good attitude and a neat clean appearance that has the attention for details on finishing a job. This means doing things right the first time so I don’t have to always go back over your work! It’s pulling all the nails, or sweeping and vacuuming all the debris, scoring baseboard and walls, filling up a dumpster correctly, etc etc. Sometimes we will work long hours, but the money is good, and it’s demo so we should have some fun while working. I can’t always be on-site as I do have to go sell more jobs to keep the money rolling in, so I need someone trustworthy enough to leave on their own, on the clock, in the customers house, representing myself and my company to the best ability. Drama and drug free! No exceptions! You need to have a valid DL and a dependable vehicle. A pickup truck is even better but not necessary. I will provide all the tools and Personal Protection Equipment. Immediate Hire for a job in Longmont. I may get a separate motel room if you live too far. My general work area is Denver, but sometimes I go outside of there as this one is. We are going to be removing roughly 1200 sqft of travertine/ stone tile flooring in a house. You will be operating a 30 lb jackhammer most the day and loading/hauling debris out into a dump trailer with 55 gallon trash cans with wheels. I start everyone at $15/hour and give quick raises to the deserving ones. (Can be at $20/hour within a couple months) I will 1099 you as an independent contractor for taxes. This means you get all the money upfront and liable for taxes at end of year. I will either pay cash daily at $15/hour or cash weekly (on Fridays) and start at $16/hour. Please reply with a brief intro about yourself, your experience, what you’re looking for as far as work (length of time, etc), whether you have a vehicle or not, what you’ve done recently for work, and 3-4,characteristics that would describe you and your work ethic. I’m at the point kf almost given up on hiring and just doing jobs myself but I’m leaving too much work left behind due to lack of manpower. Also, I will provide all the tools necessary. It is beneficial to the crew if you’re able to bring your own hammer and drill so we are not running back n forth constantly but this is also not necessary. Thank you!
