Massive Mannequins Tower Over Rodeo Drive For The Holidays

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Rodeo Drive is home to the most luxurious fashion houses in the world, so it seems apt that a slew of models are now strutting down it. On Saturday, nine huge mannequins bedecked in glittering Christmas trees, metallic gowns, and glowing ornaments, are now using the center median of Rodeo Drive from Santa Monica to Wilshire Boulevard as their catwalk. A tenth mannequin will be installed at the entrance at Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way. The mannequins appear to march besides illuminated palm trees and glittering ornaments as part of "Visions of Holiday Glamour," an event sponsored by the City of Beverly Hills and the Rodeo Drive Committee. The event will last until Jan. 3, 2021.
