DARIEN, CT — A bank card stolen from a car parked in Darien last week was later used at a Target store, according to police.
In a news release, Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros said a Locust Hill Road resident told officers he realized cash and some bank cards were missing from his wallet around 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 1.
The resident said he left his wallet in the vehicle's center console the night before and left the vehicle unlocked, Skoumbros said.
Around 9 a.m., the resident received a text message informing him one of his bankcards had been used at a Target store.
